The Word of G-d

Opinons are an interpretation of experience, feelings, and desires; the senses.
But Knowledge is the character of the soul; the Breath of G-d.
The Tanach tells us what will be; as all has been Foretold.

Ezekiel 33-39

Ezekiel 33
(1) The Word of G-d came to me, Saying, (2) "Son of man, speak to the children of your people and say to them:

When I bring the sword [of war] upon a land, the people of the land take one man from among them and set him as a sentinel for themselves. (3) If, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, he blows the shofar and warns the people, (4) and a listener hears the sound of the shofar but does not take heed and the sword comes and takes him, his blood will be upon his head. (5) He heard the sound of the shofar but did not take heed, so his blood will be upon him; had he taken heed, he would have saved his soul. (6) But if the sentinel saw the sword coming and he did not blow the shofar and the people were not warned, and a sword came and took a soul from among them--he was taken for his own iniquity, but I will seek his blood from the sentinel's hand."

(7) "Now you, son of man, I have Made you a sentinel for the House of Israel; when you hear a matter from My Mouth, you must warn them for Me. (8) If I Say of a wicked person, 'Wicked one, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak up to warn the wicked one concerning his way--he is wicked and will die for his iniquity, but I Will Demand his blood from your hand. (9) But you, if you did warn the wicked one concerning his way to repent from it, but he did not repent from his way, he will die for his iniquity, and you will have saved your soul."

(10) "Now you, son of man, say to the House of Israel,

'Thus have you spoken, saying, 'Since our sins and our iniquities are upon us and we are wasting away because of them, how can we live?'

(11) Say to them:

'As I Live--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--[I Swear] that I do not desire the death of the wicked one, but rather the wicked one's return from his way, that he may live. Repent, repent from your evil ways! Why should you die, O House of Israel?'"

(12) "Now you, son of man, say to the children of your people:

"The righteousness of the righteous person shall not rescue him on the day of his rebellious sin; and the wickedness of the wicked person shall not cause him to stumble on the day of his repentance from his sins; but the righteous person cannot live on the day that he sins. (13) If I Say of a righteous person that he shall surely live, and he is confident because of his righteousness and commits an injustice, all his righteousness will be forgotten, and because of the sin that he committed he will die. (14) And if I say to a wicked person, 'You shall surely die,' and he repents for his sins and acts with Justice [submitting to the Order of Justice] and Righteousness; (15) if the wicked person returns a pledge, repays for his theft, follows the Life-Giving Decrees without practicing corruption--he will surely live; he will not die. (16) All his sins that he had committed will not be Reminded to him; if he does Justice and Righteousness, he shall surely live."

(17) "Now the members of your people say, 'The Way of the Lord is not proper;' but them, it is their ways that are not proper. (18) If a righteous person turns back from his righteousness and practices corruption, he shall die [in corruption]. (19) And if a wicked person turns back from his wickedness and does Justice and Righteousness, he shall live [upon Justice and in Uprightness]. (20) Yet you say, 'The Way of the Lord is not proper!' I Shall Judge you, each man according to his ways, O House of Israel!"

(21) It happened in the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth [month], on the fifth of the month: A fugitive came to me from Jerusalem, saying, "The City has been conquered." (22) Now the Hand of G-d had come upon me on the evening before the fugitive's arrival, and He Opened my mouth before his coming to me in the morning; my mouth was opened and I was dumb no more.

(23) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (24) "Son of man, the inhabitants of these ruins upon the ground of Israel speak, saying, "Abraham was [but] one, yet he inherited the Land; we are many, so the Land is given us as a heritage.'

(25) Therefore, say to them:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: You eat over the blood, you lift up your eyes to your idols and you shed blood; shall you inherit the Land? (26) You relied upon your sword, you committed abomination, a man has defiled his fellow's wife; shall you inherit the Land?

(27) Say thus to them:

Thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: As I Live, [I Swear] that those who are in the ruined cities will fall by the sword; and whoever is out in the open field I have Given over to the beast to devour him; and those in the strongholds and in the caves will die by the plague. (28) I will Make the Land desolate and a waste, and its prideful power will cease; and the mountains of Israel will be desolate without passerby. (29) Then they will know that I Am G-d, when I Make the Land desolate and a waste because of all their abominations that they have committed."

(30) "Now you, son of man, the children of your people who speak against you near the walls and in the entrances of the houses, and speak to one another, each man to his brother, saying, 'Come now and hear what is the Word that comes forth from G-d.' (31) They come to you as a people comes, and My people sits before you and they hear your words, but they do not fulfill them, for they relegate them to ridicule with their mouths, and their hearts lust for unjust gain. (32) You are like a love song to them, with a beautiful voice, skillfully sung; they hear your words, but do not fulfill them. (33) But when it comes, for it will come, they will know that a prophet was among them."

Ezekiel 34
(1) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (2) "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, to the shepherds:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who have tended themselves! Is it not the flock that the shepherds should tend? (3) The choicest you eat, the wool you wear, and the healthiest you slaughter, [but] the flock you do not tend! (4) The frail you did not strengthen; the ill you did not cure; the broken you did not bind; the banished you did not retrieve; for the lost you did not search--yet you subjugated them with a force and with rigor. (5) Thus they became scattered for lack of a shepherd and became food for every beast of the field; they became scattered. (6) My sheep wander on all the mountains and upon every high hill; My sheep have scattered upon the whole face of the earth, but no one seeks and no one searches.

(7) Therefore, O shepherds, hear the Word of G-d: (8) As I Live--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--[I Swear] that because My sheep have become spoils, and My sheep have become food for every beast of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not seek out My sheep, for the shepherds tended themselves, but did not tend My flock--(9) therefore, shepherds, hear the Word of G-d!

(10) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Against the shepherds, and I Will Seek out My flock from their hand, and I Will Cause them to cease herding sheep, and the shepherds will no longer tend themselves; thus I Will Rescue My sheep from their mouths, and they will no longer be food for them. (11) For thus Said the Lord Hashem Elohim: Behold, I Am here, and I Will Seek out My sheep and I Will Tend them. (12) As a shepherd tends his flock on the day he is among his separated sheep, so Will I Tend to My sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on the day of cloud and darkness. (13) I Will Remove them from the peoples and Gather them from the lands and Bring them to their soil, and I Will Tend them upon the mountains of Israel, in the streams, and in all the Land's habitations. (14) I Will Shepherd them upon a good pasture and their fold will be upon the heights of Israel's mountains; there they will lie down in a good fold and graze upon fat pastures, on the mountains of Israel. (15) I Will Care for My sheep and I will lay them down--the Word of the Lord Hashem Elohim. (16) For the lost I Will Search; the banished I Will Retrieve; the broken I Will Bind; the ill I Will Strengthen; but the fat one and the strong one I Will Destroy. I Will Tend them with Justice.

(17) As for you, My sheep, thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Judging between lamb and lamb and the rams and the he-goats. (18) Is it not enough for you that you graze in the good pasture, that you must also trample the rest of your pasture underfoot? [Is it not enough] that you drink settled waters, that you must also befoul the rest with your feet? (19) And My flock, must they graze the tramplings of your feet and drink the befoulment of your feet?

(20) Therefore, thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim to them: Behold, I Am here, and I Shall Judge between the robust lamb and the famished lamb; (21) because you push with flank and shoulder and you gore all the frail ones with your horns until you have scattered them away. (22) So I Will Save My sheep and they will no longer be for spoils, and I Will Judge between lamb and lamb. (23) I Will Establish over them a single shepherd and he will tend them--My servant David; he will tend them and he will be a shepherd unto them. (24) And I, Hashem, I Will Be a G-d to them, and my servant David a prince among them. I, Hashem, have Spoken. (25) I Will Seal a Covenant of peace with them and Abolish evil beast from the Land; and they will dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the forests. (26) Then I Will Make them and the surroundings of My hill into a Blessing, and I Will Bring the rain in its time; they will be rains of Blessing. (27) The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its produce, and they will be secure upon their Land. Then they will know that I Am G-d, when I Break the rods of their yoke and Rescue them from the hand of the those who enslave them. (28) They will no longer be spoils for the nations, and the beast of the Land will no longer devour them; they will dwell securely, and none will make [them] afraid. (29) I Will Establish for them a planting of renown, and they will no longer be decimated by famine in the Land, and they will no longer bear the shame of the nations. (30) Then they will know that I, the Lord their Judge, Am With them, and that they are My people, the House of Israel--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim.

(31) Now, you are My sheep, the sheep of My pasture; you are man; I Am your G-d--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim."

Ezekiel 35
(1) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (2) "Son of man, direct your face toward Mount Seir and prophesy against it. (3) Say to it:

Thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Against you, Mount Seir; I Will Stretch Out My Hand against you and Make you desolate and a waste. (4) I Will Make your cities into ruins, and you will be desolate; then you will know that I am G-d. (5) Because you have eternal hatred, and you caused [the blood of] the children of Israel to stream forth by the sword at the moment of their disaster, at the time of the climactic sin, (6) therefore, as I Live--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--[I Swear] that I Will Turn you to blood, and blood will pursue you. Surely though you have hated bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you. (7) I Will Make Mount Seir desolate and a waste, and I Will Cut Off from it those who come and go. (8) I Will Fill his mountains with corpses; your hills and your valleys and all your streams. Those slain by the sword will fall in them. (9) I Will Make you an eternal desolation, that your cities will never be restored; then you will know that I Am Hashem.

(10) Because you said, 'The two nations and the two lands shall be mine and we shall inherit them'--but Hashem was there! (11) Therefore, as I Live--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--I Will Act according to your anger and according to your vengefulness, for what you have done because of your hatred for them; then I Will become known among them, when I Judge you. (12) Then you will know that I Am Hashem. I Have Heard all your provocations that you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, 'They are desolate; they are presented to us to devour.' (13) You have exulted yourselves against Me with your mouths and have spoken your words excessively against Me; I Have Heard!

(14) Thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: When all the earth rejoices, I Will Make you desolate. (15) In accordance with your rejoicing that the Heritage of the House of Israel had become desolate, so Will I Do to you; you shall be desolate, Mount Seir and every bit of Edom! Then they will know that I Am G-d."

Ezekiel 36
(1) "Now you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say:

Mountains of Israel, hear the Word of G-d! (2) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Because the enemy has said against you, 'Hurrah! The heights of the world have become a heritage for us!'--(3) therefore, prophesy and say, 'Thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Because, and again because, there was astonishment and craving for you from all around, for you to become a heritage for the rest of the nations, and you were taken up on the lip of each nation as the subject of the people's disparagement, (4) therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim! Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys, to the desolate ruins and to the forlorn cities, which have become a scorn and a derision for the remaining nations all around--(5) for this, thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: [I Swear] that I Have Spoken in the fire of My Vengefulness against the remaining nations and against all of Edom, who have arrogated My Land to themselves as a heritage with the joy of all their heart, with contempt of soul, because of [Israel's] expulsion in scorn.

(6) "Therefore, prophesy concerning the Land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys,

'Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Have Spoken in My Vengefulness and in My Wrath, because you bore the shame of the nations. (7) Therefore, thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: I Have Lifted My Hand, that the nations surrounding you will bear their shame, (8) but you, O mountains of Israel, will give forth your branch and bear your fruit for My people Israel, for they are soon to come. (9) Because here, I Am With you; and I Will Turn to you, and you will be tilled and you will be sown. (10) I Will Make people numerous upon you--the entire House of Israel, all of it; the cities will be inhabited and the ruins will be rebuilt. (11) I Will Multiply man and animal upon you, and they will multiply and be fruitful; I Will Make you inhabited as in your earlier times, and I Will Make it better than it was at your beginning; then they will know that I Am G-d. (12) I Will Cause man to walk upon you--My people Israel--and they will inherit you. Then you will be theirs for a possession, and you will no longer be bereaved of them.

(13) Thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Because people say of you, 'You devour man, and you have become one that drives out her nations'--(14) therefore, you will no longer devour people, and you will never again drive out your nations--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim. (15) I will no longer allow the derision of nations to be heard about you, you will no longer bear the shame of the peoples, and you will never again cause your nations to falter--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim."

(16) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (17) "Son of man, the House of Israel dwell on their Land, and they have contaminated it with their way and with their acts; their way has become like the contamination of a menstruous woman before Me. (18) So I Poured My Wrath upon them, because of the blood that they had shed in the Land, and [because] they had defiled it with their idols. (19) I Scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed among the lands; according to their way and according to their acts did I Judge them. (20) They came to the nations where they had come, and they desecrated My Holy Name when it was said of them, 'These are the people of G-d, but they left His Land.' (21) I Took Pity on My Holy Name, which the House of Israel had desecrated among the nations where they came. (22) Therefore, say to the House of Israel:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: It is not for your sake that I Act, O House of Israel, but for My Holy Name that you have desecrated among the nations where you came. (23) I Will Sanctify My Great Name that is desecrated among the nations, that you have desecrated among them; then the nations will know that I Am G-d--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--when I become sanctified through you before their eyes. (24) I Will Take you from the nations and Gather you from all the lands, and I Will Bring you to your own soil. (25) Then I Will Sprinkle pure water upon you, that you may become cleansed; I Will Cleanse you from all your contamination and from all your idols. (26) I Will Give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I Will Remove the heart of stone from your flesh and Give you a heart of flesh. (27) I Will Put My Spirit within you, and I Will Make it so that you will follow My Decrees and guard My Ordinances, and fulfill them. (28) You will dwell in the Land that I Gave to your forefathers; you will be a people to Me, and I Will be a Judge Over you. (29) I Will Save you from all your contaminations; I Will Summon the grain and increase it, and I will not inflict famine upon you. (30) I Will Increase the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will no longer be subject to the shame of hunger among the nations. (31) Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will be disgusted with yourselves in your own sight because of your iniquities and because of your abominations. (32) Not for your sake do I Act--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--let this be known to you! Be embarrassed and ashamed of your ways, O House of Israel!

(33) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: On the day when I Cleanse you from all your iniquities, I Will Cause the cities to be inhabited and the ruins will be rebuilt. (34) The desolated Land will be tilled, instead of having been desolate in the eyes of every passerby. (35) People will say, 'This very Land, which had been desolate, has become like the Garden of Eden; and the ruined, desolate, and demolished cities have been fortified, inhabited!' (36) The nations that remain around you will know that I, Hashem, Have Rebuilt the ruins and I Have replanted the wasteland; I, Hashem, Have Spoken and I Shall Act.

(37) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: With this also I Will Relate to the inquiries of the House of Israel, to Act for them. I Will Multiply them, the people, like sheep. (38) Like consecrated sheep, like the sheep of Jerusalem on her festivities, so will the destroyed cities be filled with flocks of people; then they will know that I Am G-d."

Ezekiel 37
(1) The Hand of G-d was upon me; It Took me out by the Spirit of G-d and set me down in the midst of the valley--and it was filled with bones. (2) He Passed me over them all around and around; and behold; they were very numerous upon the face of the valley, and see, they were very dry. (3) Then He Said to me: "Son of man, can these bones come to life?"

And I said, "Lord Hashem/Elohim, You Know!"

(4) He Said to me, "Prophesy over these bones! Say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the Word of G-d! (5) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim to these bones: Behold, I Bring a spirit into you, and you will come to life. (6) I Will Put sinews upon you, I Will Bring up flesh upon you, and I Will Cover you with skin; then I Will Put a spirit into you, and you will come to life; then you will know that I Am G-d.'"

(7) So I prophesied as I had been Commanded. There was a sound as I was prophesying. Then behold, there was a noise, and the bones drew near, each bone to its [matching] bone. (8) Then I looked, and behold, upon them were sinews, and flesh had come up and skin had covered them over; but there was no spirit in them. (9) Then He Said to me, "Prophesy to the spirit! Prophesy, O son of man, and say to the spirit, ' Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Come from the four directions, O spirit, and blow into these slain people, that they may come to life!'" (10) I prophesied as I had been Commanded and the spirit entered them and they came to life. They stood upon their feet, a very, very great legion.

(11) He Said to me, "Son of man, these bones--they are the whole House of Israel. Behold, they are saying, 'Our bones our dried out and our hope is lost; we are doomed!' (12) Therefore, prophesy and say to them:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Opening your graves and raising you up from your graves, My people, and I Will Bring you to the soil of Israel. (13) Then you will know that I Am G-d, when I Open your graves and when I Raise you up from your graves, My people, (14) and when I Put My Spirit into you, and you come to life, and I set you upon your soil. Then you will know that I Hashem Have Spoken and I Have Fulfilled--the Word of G-d."

(15) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (16) "Now you, son of man, take for yourself one piece of wood and write upon it, 'For Judah and for the children of Israel, his comrades;' and take one piece of wood and write upon it, 'For Joseph, the wood of Ephraim and all the House of Israel, his comrades.' (17) Then bring them close to yourself, one to the other, like one piece of wood, and they will become united in your hand. (18) And when the children of your people say to you, saying, 'Will you not tell us what these things are to you,' (19) say to them:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Taking the wood of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his comrades, and I Am Placing them and him together with the wood of Judah; and I Will Make them into one piece of wood, and they will become one in My Hand.

(20) The pieces of wood upon which you will write shall be in your hand, before their eyes. (21) Say to them,

'Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Taking the children of Israel from among the nations to which they have gone; I Will Gather them from all around and I Will Bring them to their soil; (22) I Will Make them into one nation in the Land, upon the mountains of Israel, and one king will be a king for them all; they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into kingdoms, ever again. (23) They will no longer be contaminated with their idols and with their abhorrent things and with all their sins. I Will Save them from all their dwelling places in which they had sinned, and I Will Purify them; they will be a nation to Me, and I Will Be A G-d to them. (24) My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them; they will follow My Ordinances and keep My Decrees and fulfill them. (25) They will dwell on the Land that I Gave to My servant Jacob, within which your fathers dwelled; they and their children and their children's children will dwell upon it forever; and My servant David will be a leader for them forever. (26) I Will Seal a Covenant of peace with them; it will be an Eternal Covenant with them; and I Will Emplace them and Increase them, and I Will Place My Sanctuary among them forever. (27) My Dwelling Place will be among them; I Will Be A G-d to them and they will be a people to Me. (28) Then the nations will know that I Am Hashem Who Sanctifies Israel, when My Sanctuary Will be among them forever.'"

Ezekiel 38
(1) The Word of G-d Came to me, Saying, (2) "Son of man, direct your face towards Gog of the land of Magog, the prince, leader of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him. (3) Say:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Against you, Gog, the prince, leader of Meshech and Tubal. (4) I Will Lead you astray, and I Will Place hooks into your cheeks and Bring you out with your entire army, horses and riders, all of them clothed in splendor, a vast assembly with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords. (5) Persia, Cush, and Put will be with them, all of them with shield and helmet; (6) Gomer and all its cohorts, the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all its cohorts--many peoples will be with you. (7) Prepare and make ready for yourself, you and all your hordes that are mustered about you, and be a guardian for them. (8) You Will Be Repaid for the many days [of sin]; in the end of years you will come to a Land Restored from the sword, Gathered from many nations, upon the mountains of Israel that had lain desolate continuously, [to a people] Brought out from the nations, all of them dwelling in security. (9) You will attack; like a storm you will come; you will be like a cloud covering the earth, you and all your cohorts and many nations with you.

(10) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: It shall be on that day that ideas will arise in your heart, and you will conceive a wicked design. (11) You will say, 'I will advance against a Land of open towns, I will come up against the tranquil people who dwell securely, all of them living without a [protective] wall; they have neither bars nor doors'-- (12) to seize booty and take spoils, to turn your hand against resettled ruins, against a people Gathered from the nations, which possesses livestock and property, who dwell upon the navel of the earth. (13) Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish and all its officers will say to you, 'Have you come to seize booty? Is it to take spoils that you have assembled your hordes, to carry off silver and gold, to take livestock and property, to seize great booty?'

(14) "Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Surely on that day, when My people Israel dwells securely, you will come to know, (15) when you come from your place in the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a vast horde, a mighty army, (16) and you advance against My people Israel like a cloud covering the earth. It will be at the End of Days that I Will Bring you upon My Land, in order that the nations may know Me, when I become sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog!

(17) Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Are you the one of whom I Spoke in earlier days, through My servants, the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, years [ago], that I Would Bring you against them? (18) It shall be on that day, that on the day that Gog comes against the soil of Israel--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--My Raging Anger Will Flare Up; (19) for in My Vengefulness, in the fire of My Fury, I Have Spoken: [I Swear] that on that day a great earthquake will take place upon the soil of Israel. (20) They will quake before Me--the fish of the sea, the bird of the sky, the beast of the field, every creeping thing that creeps on the ground, and every human being that is on the face of the earth; the mountains Will Be Broken apart and the cliffs will topple, and every wall will topple to the ground. (21) I Will Summon the sword against him to all My mountains--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--each man's sword will be against his brother. (22) I Will Punish him with pestilence and with blood; torrential rain and hailstones, fire and sulfur Will I Rain down upon him and upon his cohorts and upon the many peoples that are with him. (23) I will be exulted and I will be sanctified, and I Will Make Myself known before the eyes of many nations; then they will know that I Am Hashem."

Ezekiel 39
(1) "Now you, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say:

Thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Behold, I Am Against you, Gog, the prince, leader of Meshech and Tubal! (2) I Will Lead you astray and seduce you; I Will Cause you to ascend from the uttermost north and bring you upon the mountains of Israel. (3) I Will Strike your bow from your left hand, and Cast Down your arrows from your right hand. (4) You will fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your cohorts and the peoples that are with you; I Will Give you to the bird of prey, to every winged bird, and to the beast of the field as food. (5) You will fall upon the open field, for I Have Spoken--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim. (6) I Will Dispatch a fire against Magog and against those who dwell confidently in the islands, and they will know that I Am G-d. (7) I Will Make My Holy Name known among My people Israel, and I will not desecrate My Holy Name any longer, then the nations will know that I Am Hashem, the Holy One of Israel. (8) Behold, it is coming and it will happen--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim--that is the day of which I Have Spoken.

(9) Then the inhabitants of the cities of Israel will go out and kindle fires and fuel them with their weaponry--shield and buckler, with bow and with arrows, with mace and with spear; they will fuel fires with them for seven years. (10) They will not carry wood from the field, and they will not cut it from the forests, for they will fuel fires with the weaponry. They will plunder those that had plundered them and despoil those that had despoiled them--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim.

(11) It shall be on that day that I Will Assign Gog a place there, a burial site in Israel--the Valley of the Passerby, east of the Sea; it will block the passerby, and there they will bury Gog and all his multitude, and call it the Valley of Hamon-gog (Gog's Multitude). (12) The House of Israel will bury them in order to cleanse the Land, for seven months. (13) All the people of the Land will bury, and it will bring them renown; on the day that I Manifest My Glory--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim. (14) They will designate permanent officials to pass through the Land, burying, together with the passerby, those that remain upon the open field, to cleanse [the Land]. After seven months, they will [begin to] search. (15) The passerby will traverse the Land and when they see a human bone, they will build a marker near it, until the buriers bury it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. (16) There will also be a city called Hamonah (Her Multitude). Thus they will cleanse the Land.

(17) Now you, son of man, thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Say to every winged bird and to every beast of the field, 'Assemble and come, gather together from all around for My feast that I Slaughter for you, a great feast upon the mountains of Israel; eat flesh and drink blood! (18) Eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the earth's princes--all of them like rams, lambs and he-goats, bulls; fatlings of Bashan. (19) Eat fat to satiety and drink blood to intoxication from My feast that I Have Slaughtered for you; (20) sate yourselves at My table with horse and rider, warrior and every man of war--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim.'

(21) I Will Manifest My Glory among the nations, and all the nations will see My Judgement that I Have Executed and My Hand that I Have Placed upon them. (22) Then the House of Israel will know that I Am Hashem, their Judge, from that day and onward. (23) Then the nations will know that because of their iniquity the House of Israel was exiled, because they betrayed Me and I Hid My Countenance from them; and I Delivered them into the hand of their enemies, and they fell by the sword, all of them. (24) I Dealt with them in accordance with their contamination and their sins, and I Hid My Countenance from them.

(25) Therefore, thus Said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Now I Will Bring Back the captivity of Jacob and Show Mercy to the entire House of Israel and be Zealous for My Holy Name. (26) They will bear their shame and all their betrayal that they had committed against Me when they dwelt securely upon their soil, and none will make [them] afraid, (27) when I Return them from the peoples and Gather them in from the land of their enemies and I become sanctified through them in the eyes of the many nations. (28) Then they will know that I Am Hashem, their G-d, for I Have Exiled them to the nations, and I Will Bring them to their Land, and will not leave any of them there. (29) Then I will not hide My Countenance from them again, for I Will Pour out My Spirit upon the House of Israel--the Word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim."
