See past the illusions, and live beyond your dreams. This is the purpose of our soul. This is the world of reason, that frees us from the flesh, and makes us more than the dust of the earth. Reason gives value to life and makes the world a better place. Leaps of faith are a risk people take, and they risk falling upon their face. There's Something within you that's keen to judge. Some people call it a conscience. Some call it wit. Others call it wisdom, some a "sixth sense" or a "second sight," and it is also known as "vision" and "foresight." Some like to call it nerve, "in the bones," and "deep down inside I know...," and yet others refer to it as their nose--saying "my nose knows" and "I can smell the truth." It is our "best instinct;" it is our intuition. You can call it whatever you like, but it is Something specific. It is the result of the Breath of G-d; it is the soul of man. But it can be fooled to believe anything, as it is buried within flesh.

When you hear the news and see the world, your mind is limited to the perspective of your body. Your experiences are your own, and what you've grown to accept has become your reality. People are right when they say it's hard to change, because people don't want to change. It's annoying to say you don't know very much and should relearn everything and rediscover the world. What kind of progress is that, that people should go back to the past? To say you're lost, everyone's lost, and there is only One Way to be found. This sounds narrow minded, even for narrow minded people.

When people read the news, they're quick to form an opinion, because reality is hard to accept. People need a way to explain the news to themselves, because it's hard to understand what's really going on (and why things happen the way they do). Most of the time the news is bad news, and people would rather avoid the news and just read the sports section, except that sooner or later they must face the facts. People prefer to hide from the truth and obscure the facts, because they know that when the times change it means they must change to adapt. But if they would allow themselves to change just like that, then they'd be no more than puppets pulled by strings. Instead they drag things out in order to defend their pride, and only change in the last minute so as not to be left out. But these people are not innovators, they are mere sheep. And their pride is but an illusion, as is their sense of truth.
